All the MIDI notes play back "stuck" in Sonar when I use SampleTank 2XL. Interestingly, I do NOT have this problem when I use the SampleTank 2 "FREE version".
I have to hit the panic button (literally) in Sonar to stop the MIDI notes. I can simulate this issue without even playing a song by simply using the on-screen keyboard within SONAR (in the piano roll) and dragging the mouse over several notes -- they all play and never end. Again, I don't have this issue if I do the same thing with the FREE version -- which leads me to the conclusion that this is an 2XL version issue.
Anyone else experience good (or bad) things in Sonar (or any other sequencer). This seems like a pretty basic issue to me...

I didn't realize that there was a patch for ST2, but it seems like v2.0.6 did the trick....phew! Back to making muzak!
