I have both of these installed on my machine and whenever I open a project , the tempo is the set bpm, although the time signature will be set at 1/1 instead of the desired set amount. Why is this? Also ,I am using the Synth 1 on several projects and whenever I open the project, the voices in the synth say 'initial' and be empty. I have to reset them from the track notes each time, why is this? Thanks!

Are you using imported midi files in your projects?

Midi files can contain programm changes which resets your synth1.Try if you can delet them.
