Hi Jorgen :)

Would it be possible to implement RIFF wavs like Sonar and Acid? I have read you are working on a sapmpler component. I have done a little research into this and the format is open. It would be cheaper and mor flexible than implementing REX files.

Would it be possible to make a "riff sampler track" like you have done with midi parts, audio parts and envelopes. Being able to work with audio with all the benifits of a sequencer track and with a samplers flexiblity would be heaven :D

As a programmer you probably know about the following but here you go anyway :)

Hi Jorgen :)

Ive done some more looking around and this is what Ive found...

The following program can convert normal wavs to acid format riffs. Ive downloaded and tested this with Sonar and it works with no problems.

And a program to have a look what riffs are made of ;)

This next site seems to have all the bits and peices for reading Riffs but it didnt say about Acid riffs. Might give you some ideas
