All I want is to scan some PDF of leads SATB is about as complected as it gets. Wow I can't find anything that wouldn't cost either $200+ or is to limited. I was hoping for mobile scanning to be the new thing and it has just not been working out well. Anyone have any that they use that can output to either MIDI or Musical XML?

Musical OCR is far from being trivial. The market is significantly smaller than for classic OCR, and even that is not free if you need high quality. Usually its faster to side read and just play it (If its too difficult, play it at a quarter of the original speed...) Musescore rocks and is free...

I think that would be my approach too - sight read it and play it.

But first look if you can find the piece already in the huge collection of Musescore...
