Its finaly shipping! Being that I am a hardware junkie just starting the move to VSTs this is a GREAT thing for me! What a way to bridge the two worlds. Now if I could only afford it

What do you guys think about this unit? How many plan on buying it? Any worries about it or do you think everything with it is peachy?

hopefully now that people are buying them we can actually see some benchmarks on their speed - seeing as Muse insists on being so vague about performance.

My question is if it is SynthEdit compatable...If it cant use SynthEdit VSTs that rules out about half of my VSTs. Now if I had more money I could replace them all with nice commercial ones but that takes $...and right now I only have about $20 a month that I can play with.

I think it is a bit interesting.

I have a slow ass PC and am in the market for a faster one. The only reason I want a faster one is becuase of music stuff. So I may look at this as well, but will end up costing about the same as a laptop.

Yes, it is SynthEdit compatible

In exemple, there is Microsynth from EVM Synthpack installed on Receptor :

And EVM Syntpack is a SynthEdit plug-ins pack

Very cool...now depending on the price (what it is actually going to cost...not the MSRP) and depending on if I can sell off enough to buy it...I would love to pick one up. So anyone want to buy a fully expanded ESI-4000 sampler?

RAM, 256 MB up to 2GB
HD, 40 GB swap by bigger (surely up to 200 GB)
