Here's an example of using Kontakt to slice drum loop and then play it in shuffled order with a sequencer script, for breakbeat fun.

Have patience while watching as I'm building an example instrument using some factory loops.

The script is here:
www.fairlyconfusing.net/docs/SliceJockey.rar

(the script preset file goes to appropriate folder, like: ...\Documents\Native Instruments\Kontakt\presets\Scripts - This one is saved in Kontakt 5)

It's unlocked so you can see how does it work.
We have two ui tables, first can be used to chop down duration of played slices, or to create a pause steps. The second point to which slice to play at sequence step. Use keyboard to select samples and press play button... Remember to use sampler mode, or set s.mod parameter.

Suggestions and comments welcomed. I guess it would be nice to add different sequence parameter sets per note, I'll get back to it. Possibly.
