Hallo guys,
I've just got EMU-X which is a very good sampler..
the problem is that I cant audition my samples without loading a huge amount which is very unpractical..
is there any nice program that browse thru my sample list and let me hear them b4 placing them in the sampler..?

I use Windows Media player v. 6, which will loops samples (view >options > play forever). No other version of Media player loops precisely, so I always keep v. 6 around. It also has an extremely small footprint, unlike its hideous younger siblings. I have yet to find a replacement for it, but, tragically, it does not seem to manage 24bit files. For these I have to use Soundforge, with its autoplay "open" dialog box

For OS X AudioFinder is pretty good... can send samples to your EMU via SCSI from within the program too, if i remember right
