Been playing with it for 30 minutes. It's fun to tinker with and learn. I've thrown a bunch of samples into it, and I've been getting a narrow range in variety of sound--so far eerie, industrial pads--but maybe I need to explore it more.
Doing nothing is only fun when you have something you are supposed to do.

Nice...but iOS 7.99, VST/AU 99. For me there is a border in my brain to pay 12-13 times more for the same tool again. I know it might be not quite the same workflow and integration and so but i can´t get behind this wall in my brain. Maybe it is just me that i feel that the value goes down for me when there is the same version for so much less on another platform (i use too and can integrate into my mac workflow).

I received FIVE! e-mails in a row from them about it - now that's what I call proper spam!

The grain attack slider only applies to short grain durations when playing on the left hand side of the grain panel.Vortifex wrote: Sat Jul 20, 2019 1:06 pm Is there no separate ADSR control for the grains and amplitude? I'm finding even with the attack and release set to 0 there is still a slow attack when you press a different key.

An idiot on Set Theory:

I don't mind there being such a gap. However, the new desktop app needs to be priced with the desktop market i.e it's nearest competition, in mind. I don't think this isCinebient wrote: Sat Jul 20, 2019 12:58 pm Nice...but iOS 7.99, VST/AU 99. For me there is a border in my brain to pay 12-13 times more for the same tool again. What is a fantastic, simple/elegant design that is very well-suited to a small touch-screen device becomes a feature-bereft, ui-nightmare when blown-up to-scale (imo). Why would a desktop granular synth offer an either/or filter? It's a welcome ui compromise on my tiny iPhone 7, but is woefully lacking on a $100 vst. Maybe I'm wrong, and the extra functionality is hidden away

How is it special compared to the competition?

Yes, especially when it seems to be the EXACT same app. Nothing added to take advantage of the superior PC/Mac power.Cinebient wrote: Sat Jul 20, 2019 12:58 pm Nice...but iOS 7.99, VST/AU 99. For me there is a border in my brain to pay 12-13 times more for the same tool again.
