for years i have wanted to tell the story of synthedit as a documentary video. i don't see it happening for reasons which lead me to a broader proposal, which may be feasible because of this wider scope of parties -

the evolution of kvr and inseparably vst as an emerging field is about as epic as you can get (ignoring the 'it's a bunch of persons sitting at computers' part of it) (well, maybe epic from the perspective of people sitting at computers). it may also be too close to the events to do well, but i think it is worth doing while it can still be done.

my conception of what would make good viewing is more community driven media. i don't know the more appropriate format, lists or channels or a series or a single documentary but i think it would make meaty material to give a taste of the dynamics, what shaped contemporary states from various perspectives, what kind of craziness the developers had to tolerate and were swept up in, you know, dumb human stuff that brings all this technology to life and sells ting for you boy.

the timeline of vst releases would make a fair structure for part. i would tend to steer towards accounts for their value as an exhibition of the perspective of circumstance and illuminate some of the causalities and form in pleasing ways.
you come and go, you come and go. amitabha neither a follower nor a leader be tagore "where roads are made i lose my way" where there is certainty, consideration is absent.
