Currently Transfuser 2 and rigid audio bundle are being sold at vstbuzz. Does anyone have anything to say about those products? Good bad?

Post

For me it's a bit the same, yust technique irc.

Post

1. Wondering if can use my audio samples in Transfuser 2.
2. Can Transfuser 2 can be used as a midi fx?

Post

It's cheap tho,
Can get a nice badum badum going.

1. Yes, WAV/AIFF, ACID, Apple Loops, and REX2. It comes with almost 5GB of one-shots and loops as well which can be used in DAWs and other plugins.
2. What do you mean? Use the sequencer to output as MIDI? No, it drives the internal slicer/synthesizer. But you can drag and drop the sequence out as MIDI (from the relevant PATTERN note), useful for groove extraction.

Thanks
1. I suppose I can drag and drop the samples?
2. Yes a bit odd but IIRC someone had mentioned that Transfuser 2 can be used as a MIDI fx, somehow the midi out had some midi data. Looks like my memory failed me. Oh well. Thanks for confining it. But then like you said "can drag and drop the sequence out as MIDI" may be useful.

transfuser 2 is a strong alternative to stylus rmx and a first-rate rex player, the only vst as good as reason's dr rex.

1. Yes, there's a large drop area with text instructions, one of the first things you see. Then it'll ask how you want it to process (sliced audio (like REX2), time-stretched, mapped to drum kit). You can have multiple samples, so you can keep dropping below the extant ones.
2. It has multi audio out, no MIDI out. Since the patterns and triggering is done via MIDI, you can record the passed-through MIDI (if your DAW allows it).

You can go to the product page here: https://www.airmusictech.com/product/transfuser-2

There's a "User Guide" linked in the column to the right. It explains it a lot more in-depth. It's a very powerful software, you can sequence and perform and entire song using nothing but this in a VST host. Only problem is the size. You can make it taller (to accommodate more tracks) but you can't scale it.

Thanks for help.
I will get it alone or as part of the bundle.
