cd drives wont werk...kinda..

tracktion wont acknowledge any of my cd drives on my comp. if i try to import audio from the cd "tracktion cannot find any suitable drives." i just installed the 1.6 update hoping that it would remedy that error but no such luck. my cd rives will werk normally tho. i can use them for reading and burning as before. but they won werk in tracktion or tracktor 2.1

any help will be appreciated.
