Cubase SE Studio Case for imac OS X

hi. i'm new here and hope that someone on this forum can help me.

i recently purchased the Steinberg studio case. i plan on running it on my imac which runs on OS 10.3.5. the studio case includes cubase SE and steinberg's vsti programs. i was able to install cubase SE without any problems. however, when i tried to install the vsti programs, i get an error which states "FILE NOT FOUND: VST" and it won't install. so, i took it back to guitar center (where i purchased it) and they were able to start the installation on their mac without incident. i've checked my computer for problems and wasn't able to find anything.

i have an email into steinberg, but i figure that someone on this forum might have encountered a similar problem.

any help that you can give me would be greatly appreciated.
