Hi guys,

I produce EDM and don't really need inputs, as I do most things in-the-box.

So I just want a good quality DAC to power my monitors with a decent headphone jack and volume control, with possibly MONO button/option and two outputs for a/b test setup.

Is the Tascam or the AXE any good, or is a Focusrite Claret or Audient iD14 a better option?

I've been using my ASUS X99 Dolby 7.1 onboard sound via optical cable to my amplifier, so need something to power newer TRS connected active monitors.
