Thanks! Everything I’ve read about it indicates that it’s a very different pedal. Some people prefer its sound but I’d like to get the same sound as I got in that video.

Oh I see, thanks.
(FWIW I like mine, but I can't compare)

I'm sure they're both good, just different. People say the Mudhoney II is brighter.

Ordered SansAmp Bass Driver DI last night.

I, er, surprised myself a bit there, making that order...

Got a Lizard Leg Effects Flying Dragon boost. The weirdest thing is it adds a lot of white noise UNTIL you get to the very highest level. Then the noise goes away and it adds a really sweet treble boost that allows you to control the gain with your guitar volume without having to worry about treble loss:

Thomann added a Greek brand to their catalogue: VS Audio.
Here's a link to their pretty distortion pedals:

^ Might explain why Thomann has Blue Ranger for only £34. Must resist :borg:

I miss MindPrint. My TRIO needs a big brother.

Hi,
Looking for multifx pedalboard.
So far, I am looking at the BOSS GT-100/GT-1/Mooer GE-200/ TC-Electronic Nova System.

Anyone have experience with one or more of those processors, I'd like to hear your experiences.
I'd go for the GT-100, but I think it is overkill. I want something for my VOX AC15 (which does not have fx loop capability). So, the main question would be how do the sounds compare between the 2 BOSS units, and between the GTs and the Nova.
Thankee!

I've seen amazing things be done with a ME-80 by the Boss product demonstrators but then I didn't manage to get very good sounds out of it myself. My assumption was that it works better over the full range speakers they were demonstrating through than an amp. If you're concerned about overkill, did you check out the MS-3? That's a brilliant concept, especially if you use other pedals with it.

The Nova System is very bulky and heavy. I would recommend their new Plethora X5 over it for size, portability, sound, and features (it's pretty much better in every way).

FWIW, it's pretty easy to add an Preamp Out/Power Amp In FX Loop to an AC15.

Hi,

Thanks for the suggestion, but a major criterion is ease of use. The ME80 has too many knobs and almost no LED. The TC NOVA doesn't look that bulky:

This will probably be between the GT-1 and the NOVA.

Ok, I've ordered the GT-1. I can live with that price, and it sounds fine. The GT-100 is overkill, but I think this might be enough. Stupid, cheap, Roland didn't include a power supply, but I have another BOSS cord, so that will probably work.

A single effect loop should suffice.
Just ordered a Mosky Loop Box from Ali Express for $16.64 (shipping included) :o
Also, 10 foot switch toppers for $2.24 :dog:
The Loop Box arrived after a 1.5 month wait, seems to do the job. Glad I can now easily bypass my cab sim.

I worry that one of these days you will go missing only to be found weeks later trapped under a collapsed stack of effects pedals and only kept alive by eating the dead birds that your cats bring you.
