Walktrough:
Every pianist knows that not all pianos are the same. Each instrument can have a so different touch and color, and sometimes it is important to find the right piano for the right piece. This is why we sampled two instruments so deeply: we wanted to give to our customers the freedom to choose between two different instruments, recorded both with the same philosophy. The sound we had in mind was a warm and defined sound: this is why we started recording with top-end gear only after multiple session of testing and research for the perfect sound.
But the main mission of this piano was to combine art of recording with the art of scripting: we tried to understand and recreate the complex game of the resonance inside a piano, with overtones simulation, repedaling, impulse response of the body, and much more.
Here a live performance by the italian musician Pino Cangialosi
