Cool, it's a beauty. It's just asking for a Jazz chord progression, or some rock and roll.
I liked the J&D SH40 semi hollow you hung on the wall for decoration.
J&D seem decent, their LP single cut guitars have the good spec, mahogany body with a thick maple cap, PAF style Alnico pickups.
Anyway, have fun with the Gretsch.

Cheers!
Man, this is high-end and the J&D SH40 was low end - really good looking but full of cheap electronics that make noise since day 1, some defects in the wood, do not stay in tune for long... This is the opposite. Note that in the 3 days I recorded some guitar parts for this video, I never ever tuned it after doing it early on day 1...
It is really great! I bought it for my own 44th birthday and I am a happy guy!

Looks gorgeous, and costs less than I imagined (in the UK). I like the cadillic green version too.

Thanks mate. It was 2 months ago...
Conclusion: Life is too short for bad sound.
It is. Cadillac Green would be my 2nd option if this was not available.thecontrolcentre wrote: ↑Tue Oct 01, 2019 6:53 pm Looks gorgeous, and costs less than I imagined (in the UK). I like the cadillic green version too.

Not in North Korea for sure...
It cost around 980€ retail price but I managed to shave VAT off that. It is high end construction. Great guitar for the price!
Totally recommended.
Please check the G2420 if you want the "same guitar" but cheaper! Not exactly the same, of course but very similar in specs and looks.

Wow, that's affordable. I am not a guitar player, but I would have guessed about 3 thousands dollars or euros.
I think almost any new, well-made quality guitar looks very beautiful.

Here is the correct link:

When I look for photos of that guitar on Google, they all seem to be with non-golden hardware.
