MS Surface Pro's are not that different from each other. Well, I doubt the mixer remote control software is that demanding. It's just simple gui rendering and communication to the desk.

Isn’t this as simple as finding the minimum specs required for the mixer and comparing against the Surface?

yeah probs mushy mushy but it's always good to get users real experiences with these things. Even though the "specs" might sya it runs, it doesn't always follow that it does!

@bertkoor yes I would have thought so, but just sometimes there are hidden "gotchas" that only a real-world user would know.

I have a SP4 and it’s a beast. Runs over 100 tracks in Cubase (all with FX) on a daily basis. My current project is up to 140 tracks and it’s starting to put up a fight now.

hmm, good to know that thx - the 4's are at pretty reasonable prices around the place I have noticed!
