I wonder what is the
best / comprehensive / easiest to deal with
instrument which can do proper resynthesis of samples.
Logic Alchemy, Padshop 2, Arturia Synclavier, NI Form?
What's your opinion / experience / proposal?

Tone2 Icarus 1.6 and future Icarus 2. I think that "best" is subjective but this is one of the best I have seen ever.

As a resynthesis freak, I'd say Form. Icarus is great too, but sometimes fails. Harmor never fails but eh...

I feel like Harmor gets a little phasey as you start moving extremes across pitch. Curious about Icarus. For close pitch changes I find samplers are better for color.

Harmor is great quality but I never took to the interface/workflow. I've had Icarus for a little while and it's pretty awesome for resynthesis.

virsyn cube had a very good reputation on that respect (as : "the best resynthesis engine, by far" ...that kind of comments), likely still competing IMO, it might deserves a little glance...

Form has a fairly basic feature-set but it's easy to use and the results are good.

Just... watch out for the whole Reaktor patch-saving thing...

Didn't notice this. Icarus for sure anyways. But since you're on a mac, even if not a logic user, you should at least get Mainstatge for Alchemy. But still I think I prefer the Icarus sound.

Form user here. Agreed on all things. Basic feature set, very easy to use, good results.

Don't underestimate the spectral resynthesis in the new Padshop 2 update, it sounds very good and buttery smooth. Quite impressed.

Just curious - Is it sort of an easy version of the resynthesis in Halion? Must be related eh?
