two midi controllers on the same computer?

Ive got an mp-7 taking up the midi in port of my audiophile 24/96 audiocard and I plan on buying the edirol pcr-50 keyboard and use it through a usb port. Will the two controllers somehow interfere with eachother? Will I for instance be able to control two different midi channels at the same time? I use Live 4 as my only host together with kontakt and cs-80v.

Not at all, especially if they are on different ports. In Live you'll be able to specify the 2 ports as remote inputs. Its up to you (and the controllers) which midi channels you use.
