Logic and Ample guitars on MacBook

Hi all, and thanks in advance for any assistance.
Over the past 6 or 7 years I have upgraded my MacBook from OS 8.something, to Mohave 10.14.5, on a 2.8gHz i7 processor with 16gb memory and 500gb ssd drive. It runs fine. Logic has gradually moved from from 9 to 10 and various other steps tp 10.4.4. It also runs fine, especially plugged into the 2 HP 24" monitors that sit on my desk.
I bought Ample Guitars AGT when version 1 was current. Then AG12, then AGTC. Then upgrades as they were released (or a little bit later).
What with my university studies as well as all the music, and despite using various external drives, I need to clean up my SSD and the whole plugin scenario.
Question; I am a registered owner of the Ample guitar products... I still have some of the earlier versions on there... can I delete all my Ample stuff and reload and re-install, and re-register from scratch? Or do I need to retain the latest versions and delete AGT 2 for example? Can I run Ample with the sound libraries on an external HDD?
