Has anyone had any luck doing this? I tried connecting my Focusrite 18i8 interface to my iPhone using the USB camera connection kit so I could record audio into Korg Gadget. It appeared to list the inputs, but I could not get audio in from any of them.

Focusrite themselves say it should be possible here:
