Hope someone can help with this as I'm going round in circles.
Tried the free version of the Wotja app on my Galaxy Tab tablet and it seemed a fun thing to play with so followed the link to Amazon to pay 10 bucks for the 'pro' 20 version. Having paid for it there doesn't now seem to be any way to install the bloody thing as it seems to expect either a Fire device or 'Cloud' and the latter only has instructions for use with some app called Amazon Underground that doesn't seem to exist anymore.
I'm probably screwed, but wondering if anyone here has a solution?

Maybe you paid for a Fire Tablet version on Amazon if it’s expecting a Fire device?

Maybe try to contact the developer?

Their support pages seem to be full of shrugs and hand off everything to the app stores.

It definitely didn't read like a Fire only version, it's linked directly from the free android app that is running happily on my tablet. The only fire device I have is a Fire stick and it's not going to be worth using it on there.

Looks like they have a weird sales model and don’t have a version on the Play Store.

Check out this link:

Might help you figure it out.

*Edit*
If you are having issues that you can download the Wotja app via the Amazon Appstore but it just does not seem to install then we believe it might be related to the Android setting 'Enable Unknown Sources' - Amazon mention this setting on their Amazon Appstore app download page. See: https://www.amazon.com/gp/feature.html? ... 1000851343. Tip: Of course once you have sucessfully installed Wotja you might want to revert the setting back to "Disabled".

As every Android device seems a little different you might also find it helps to do a web search for something like "Amazon App store apps not installing" and check what results you get back.

Cheers for that, but I already tried that. I get a link that just takes me back to the same page and a 'Get Amazon Appstore' link never displays even though I've turned my app security into Swiss cheese for them.

They didn't really help, but another forum had someone with similar issues on a Nexus 7 and they suggested downloading Firefox and that worked for me - the two browsers on the device (Samsung Internet and Chrome) wouldn't allow the Amazon Appstore download link to appear, but Firefox did and it was plain sailing from there.
