hello, im running android 5 , i don't think i can run 2 apps at the same time, maybe newer android versions can do this?.. so if its possible in newer versions, can they share midi ? (one ( midi controler) send midi out to the other (daw/synth))..

if its not yet possible, can 2 android phones be connected with cable ,and one with a midi controller app sending midi out to the other running a daw/synth? ( saw videos with hardware midi controler doing this, but i wanna check if this can be done with apps)
