I apologize for creating a new thread. But the old Saurus thread was not created by myself and I can't manage it properly.
What is Saurus?
Finally, true analog sound does no longer require compromises! Saurus2 is an extremely authentic emulation of analog synthesizers. It covers all aspects of the most famous and expensive synths, but without disadvantages.

Found a bug in 2.6 - when changing filter type from controller knob (SL MK2) saurus crashes and crashes reaper too. It happens both in automap version of the plugin and also when manually mapping it. Windows 10 x64, Reaper 6.11, Saurus 2.6
Great synth otherwise.

Hi Marcus,
I don't think it maters the controller, i told you the model because the automap version suffers too, but that's just a wrapper and midi cc is the same in every controller.
Thanks

Downloaded the demo.
Would be nice if the arrow keys and the esc key could be used to step through presets in the browser and to close the browser, respectively.
Many presets are too loud.

+1 for the arrow keys.
And maybe a redesigned interface, as for all the tone2 synths (and ofc, the website
). Some research say the design affects user's perception of a synth including sound quality - imho one of the reasons Serum and Pigments get so much praise. If interested msg me, im also into designing interfaces. And ofc, scalable interface - a standard nowadays.

Hi Markus.
I just noticed a little issue with Saurus VST3 in Bitwig (probably not only there)...
While the VST2 version works fine, VST3 is blocking Spacebar for Transport Start/Stop once you touch a knob on the GUI... the VST2 version doesn´t behave like this...
Is there anything you can do to make them function the same?

One thing that I miss from advanced analogue reproductions is cross modulation, something I am not sure Saurus is currently capable of? Its just a nice trick that produces interesting in-harmonic sounds.
Hopefully in future Saurus will get cross mod?

Beware of the gatekeepers and attack dogs and stay safe.
