The great thing about listening to music today is it's really easy to dig up 90s music and listen to it if you want.
I don't particularly remember KLF as being particularly raw, but then I was into Skinny Puppy, FLA, KMFDM, Laeather Strip, etc. at the time...

There's so much people making all kinds of music today, there's no shortage of anything, as listener you do have a choice, as upcoming artist, well, you are maybe short of luck if you want to become star, but don't want to get on the popular bandwagon, but maybe not, you can be famous in smaller circles, maybe chipmunk EDM goes out of the style in two days and there's place for raw electronic music for few days, until it's replaced by another thing, trends change, you don't have to tho, decisions...

I miss Darkside DnB of the late 90s... Now it's just either commercial club pop or boring Neuro that everyone else tries to emulate. Meh...

If that's your idea of "rough" and "raw", I can't help you. This is what "rough and raw" electronic music means to me -dasen wrote: Wed Mar 04, 2020 9:03 pmI miss the rough and raw electronic music with balls like the band "THE KLF" from the 90s and not the cheesy chipmunk "EDM" of today, anyone else?

Okay... Not 1990s.
But this is the type of stuff I miss in general - heavy once it kicks in!
It's very hard to find decent tunes like this (assuming you like this stuff of course) with that 'older' sound.
