SampleTank2LE Color Knobs - where are they?

Hi all,
I am a participant in the recent Sonic Synth group buy that occurred here recently. In that epic thread discussing the buy, I could have sworn that someone reported that SampleTank 2LE had knobs to change the color.
Anyway, I received version 2.0.7 of ST2LE and there are no knobs to be found for changing the color. Did I do something wrong or was this feature never included in ST2LE?
Are there at least some configuration settings I can manually make to tone down that RED?
Thanks!
Mojo Chopper

They're not in my LE 2.0.7, but they're in the full version 2.0.6 (three tiny black knobs in the black trim to the right of the big "display window").

Thanks Meffy,
That's unfortunate. I guess I will have to live with the RED for the time being and have some headache pills handy

To get every color in the spectrum you can always upgrade to SampleTank 2 XL. Besides more colors you get more sounds, import ability, access to all 5 fx slots, access to stretch, ps/ts, multiple instances and other cool things.
I like red though and it's funny because I was one of the people who REALLY wanted other colors but for some reason while I occassionally change the color of my ST2 I tend to go back to the red a lot. It's a signature look for ST2. Maybe I'm just used to it but I like it.
Still, if you have to trade a feature limitation such as 2 outs and color changes vs. 16 outs and only red then... I think most people would want the outs!

Totally frivolous future feature request: it would be nice if the color could optionally be stored in module presets, so you could have a blue pianos-and-organs module, yellow brasses, and so forth. :-)

I might consider upgrading in a few months. I would like to explore all the stuff in this bundle first. I'm still somewhat of a noob with softsynths, DAW's, and keyboards in general (I was a bass player in my previous life). I would like to get to a point where I am creating some worthwhile music before I can justify pursuing it much further.Squids wrote:To get every color in the spectrum you can always upgrade to SampleTank 2 XL. Speaking of limitations, is there a feature matrix somewhere that directly compares the various flavors of Sampletank (XL, LE, etc.)?
By the way, I was very impressed with your demo video. Particularly with how well you played drums on the keyboard. You sounded better than some drummers I know

Thanks Mojo. It is nice hearing that people watch the videos too. I'll be doing some more soon, including some finger drumming lessons.
There is a comparison chart but I am not sure if it is on line yet. I will check and post it when I find it.
Woah!!!! I almost just bit the dust! I was leaning back in my chair and it went too far! Man! If it wasn't for the Continuum I would have been in some trouble. I was balanced on one wheel there for a second. Whew! That was close!

If it helps I'd take a bow, but there's no emoticon for that, so f**k it, I'll use this instead

Just my two cents on the color,,, The Orange background color is so close to the Brown, that it really does make it difficult to read the voice names. It's not simply a matter of being able to choose my color based on personal preference, but a matter of functionality. With all the generous "throw in" goodies, execellent customer service, quality of the sounds, and value,,, I am very happy with this bundle. I would love to see a skin or something , though, that would give us a little more contrast in the colors to make it more easily readable.

If you were to upgrade to the full version which is the SampleTank 2 XL upgrade on www.esoundz.com you would be able to do a lot of things but one of them is adjust the color (as well as lumination and saturation). It helps to adjust it exactly how you want. But, the default color is SampleTank 2's traditional red.harmony gardens wrote:Just my two cents on the color,,, The Orange background color is so close to the Brown, that it really does make it difficult to read the voice names.
