Hi !
I'm a ST2LE group bundle purchaser and I have the first of many silly questions.
First off I've always used hardware live but I'm giving the softsynth thing a try just to see if I can pull it off.
Gear: Roland A-30 controller (old but good) Laptop (2GHZ, 1GB) and a M-Audio 1814 firewire card.
My question:
Will the ST2LE work in "patch mode" in other words, Instead of each sound being assigned a MIDI channell I'd like sampletank to be assigned a MIDI channell and then be able to cycle through the patches using my controller. Example: I use the NI B4 and when I load it up I can cycle through the patches from my controller. Only 1 MIDI channell is used.
Thanks
Dennis

Good luck. See my post about "ST2 Unison mode". I've asked for a cut-down version of ST2 which allows for control over the plug externally, i.e. pan, volume, midi channel, external fx etc.
The "worsktation inside a plug-in" concept is great, but there are often times when ST2 is one of many other VSTi's in use and I'd like more control. I have not had any response from IKM about my suggestion ....
