Hey Everyone,

Can't decide which to choose, PhoenixVerb sale price is very inexpensive compared to Nimbus & R4.
What are you thoughts on these reverbs?
their comparison from your experience could be very helpful.

i have only the phoenixverb, strangely a month ago, it was $10 us... great reverb.. a comparison i can't give. only with other reverbs i have, a nice, very nice addition, to my reverb collection.

Nimbus and R4 are very good reverbs. I believe Nimbus is the big brother of PheonixVerb, Nimbus offering more control etc. If you own Nimbus there would be no need to buy Pheonix, that is my understanding anyway after checking into it when PheonixVerb came on sale at a very low price. I have Nimbus and R4 and they are very good.

still i was wandering why its sugnifetly cheaper then 2 other (even with regular price).
I read lot of people very like Nimbus. so any comparison between them of pros and cons could be interesting and helpful.

I got them also with a izotope MPS bundle.
haven't registered any of them because having serious deleme, which to keep and which to sale to cover a bit the bundle cost because I'm not bill gaits )
could you please share with me your thought on Nimbus vs R4 comparison?
and isn't that excess to keep both of them same time?

I got the Nimbus and R4 with the iZotope MPS3, purchased the Exalibur (multifx) just in sale.
EA makes great products - my challenge is, that I own 5 very good classic reverbs, and those EA effects are a bit on the special side, meaning, that the use is limited.

I’d recommend those mainly for soundscaping, if you already own good basic, classic reverb models.

Algorithm, modelled, sampled, convolution - I love the versatility available at the moment.

Its like the difference between Vahalla Room and Vintage Verb. Nimbus is suppose to sound more natural and R4 is designed to sound like a digital reverb
Nimbus is clean and R4 is dirtier but you cab make both sound how u want

sorry for a bit newbie question
what do you think if I'm more in to rock oriented. does it means that Nimbus is more then enough to my need for its natural reverb, or R4 would also be handy to keep?

Phoenixverb is now my favourite reverb for putting sounds in a "space". It's extremely clean and very useful. I imagine Nimbus is even better.

I’ve got those, as well, both can be included as ”classic” reverbs. Other very good versatile classics: Echoboys (both versions), Valhalla Vintage/Room, Waves H-Reverb, Acon's Verberate 2.

For rock I'd actually rather recommend R4 than Nimbus - but depending on your needs the latter may come in quite handy as well of course - even before R4 in your signal-chain… (e.g. to make an amp-sim more believable by "putting it in a room" before you then add more obvious and artificial reverberation… (personally I usually use Breeze 2.5 for that though)

I bought PhoenixVerb when it was on sale and think it is a very useable reverb but I personally prefer the reverbs from LiquidSonics and Acon's Verberate 2.

I always add reverb at the end of signal-chain.
