Waveform - recording is only possible when at least one active input device is assigned to a track

Waveform software - downloaded and installed it today.
I can select the input (Electronic Drums TD-1), activated the recording button, but when I click on the main record button the message written on the subject is displayed and I can't record anything.

Any tips how to fix this issue? Thanks in advance,

You definitely want to post this over at the Tracktion forum here along with what version you're using (I assume the v11) and your OS.

What does it show under Settings/MIDI Devices?
Does the Electronic Drums TD-1 show as "enabled"?

I'm having the exact same issue. My MIDI keyboard is enabled, the track has a plugin, and it's emitting notes... I'm just getting started so I am running into all of these tedious problems that keep me from recording. Like, my MIDI is literally set as the input device... for this track... what else do I need to set up?
