Apple Logic Pro X specific DIY vocal chains/CST/templates

Is anyone experimenting with a unique, low-budget (perhaps stock plug-in-only) vocal chain that has to do with crafty bus routing?

I would be curious if anyone is really exploring bus routing in regards to vocal chains versus a costly "boutique" plug-ins market.

You can do great job using Logic stock plugins instead of boutique ones, what do you feel is missing in Logic?
