Hello, I am using Reaper and I want to integrate the Vstboard plug (Wrapper / Chainer).
OK, no problem.
But I would like Reaper to recognize both Vstboard x86 and Vstboard x64. Currently, I can't do it, if I install both, only one is recognized.
Why do that ? Apparently, Vstboard x86 only works with vsti x86, and Vstboard x64 only works with vsti x64. So both have to be installed.
Any help ?

The x86 one is probably being installed in a folder Reaper doesn't scan for VSTs.
There are two kinds of people in the world. And you're not one of them.

Thank you.
No, everything is OK. The vsts are in the right directories.
But the two versions (x86 and x64) cannot coexist which often happens with a lot of plugs.
They probably have the same name or something like that.
It must be very simple to solve, but I can't find it.

Did you try to rename one of the vsts?

Post

Yeah. I think you have to rename one of them.
Also, if you have multiple vst paths, the order of them listed in “preference” is significant. Reaper chooses the last vst it scans when there are two vst’s with the same name.

Thank's for help.
Change the name don't remove the issue.
I must change the id, maybe. I've tried with an hex editor, but I can't found the ID number.
I'll write to the author...

The uniqueID of a vst is dword-sized, shouldn't be to find the uniqueID with an hex editor if you know the right identifier.

You can force Reaper to scan VST plugins by FILE NAME instead of the built in VST name. Then you simply rename the file and you can have both.
