Question about Ableton Live 10 loop recording in arrangement view.

First of all, just to get it out the way, I do use Ableton Live strictly in arrangement view. I know I'm probably doing it wrong and I've tried using session view but it just doesn't work for me.

When in arrangement view, if I set a loop region to record some midi for that region, once I've recorded if I don't stop recording and it starts looping through again it starts rewriting my midi recording like if it was doing a 2nd take.

Is there a way to disable that?

Click the little plus symbol right hand side to the record button in the transport field... this will make that newly recorded notes are added without overwriting what you´ve done so far!!
