Do you perceive any difference in overall sound between your tracks and commercial tracks?

I have observed that no matter what you do, how much you reference, I still hear differences between my songs and professional/commercial tracks.

Of course, I am not a pro, but irrespective of that, I want to ask people here if they perceive differences in the overall sound of their mastered song when comparing them to commercial tracks. Trying to figure out if it is problem with me (physiologically) or my skills.

Has the music ever sounded the same way to you like how commercial tracks do in your home studio or listening environment?

Note that I am not asking specially about how good or bad a mix or master is, but the overall sound only. The mix or master can be great, but does it sound like commercial tracks you listen to?

Yes I definitely hear differences too. I think it's because the time spent with your song, the little mistakes you know you made, the little details you hear because you know they exist. I think though some time after finishing a track (usually 6-12 months without listening to it) it fits more into a playlist with commercial tracks than right aftering finishing it. But it'll never sound the same to my ears, no matter what I do :D

You spoke my mind, literally, exactly. I have been trying to convince myself the same, but it's not possible I guess. :)

Let's wait for some more comments.
