Running Cubase Pro 10.5 on Windows 10.

So in these crazy times we currently find ourselves in, one thing that is plentiful is time at home. After doing the expected chores, spending time with family etc., I decided to spring clean my PC. By that I mean I defragged it, deleted / uninstalled old demos and vst's that I can't use / will never use, leaving me with fewer choices, but it's inspirational! I've decided to put production and mixing on the back burner for a while and delve into synths and effects I forgot I had, really get to know them and explore deeper into Cubase; I've found features I didn't know I have.

For example, in Cubase using instrument tracks rather than creating racks and midi tracks, if you click on the little camera button on the GUI, it puts a picture of the synth in the right hand zone menu; I didn't know about that feature. I laboriously did it for every synth I own, meaning I now try out different synths rather than sticking with the same old suspects, just because I can actually see it.

One question I do have, is how do people go about storing drum sample libraries? I keep mine on my desktop in a folder named samples (funnily enough!) Is that the best way or store them on an external drive? Or any other preferences?

Is there anything you find yourself doing different now?

Just thought I'd throw this out there. Stay safe and healthy people.
I wonder what happens if I press this button...
