ADSR Sample Manager Alternative or Competitor

Hi, I guess I should mention that I have a PC and not a Mac computer... So I am looking for a solution for the PC platform.
I've installed ADSR Sample Manager on my system and did a scan, but I guess I have too many samples. When I try to load the app, it just freezes and I have to kill from the Task Manager. Using Win10 Pro.
Even if I uninstall then re-install and do another scan, it locks up and I again have to kill the app.
Does anyone know of an alternative to ADSR Sample Manager, either free or pay? I like the idea, but ADSR Sample Manager isn't working for me.

The closest competitor would be Loopcloud from Loopmasters...dlt123 wrote: Fri May 08, 2020 11:11 pm Hi, I've installed ADSR Sample Manager on my system and did a scan, but I guess I have too many samples. Loopcloud is not a competitor, it's the leader that others compete with

But Loopcloud also takes a very long time if you have a lot of samples. In your case with ADSR the process will, probably, eventually finish and hopefully will be quicker after that.
With Loopcloud I have disabled automatic scanning. Only manually scan when I add new sample packs

If you're on Mac and you wish to spend money: https://audiohelperproject.com/products/samplism/
(I realise both those things could be false).

My issue with ADSR (yes I know it is free) is that as of 1.5, it has stopped scanning my Native Instruments samples. Worked fine before. not sure if NI asked them to stop or they decided to stop scanning this competitors samples. But all my stuff from Sounds.com or Maschine from NI gets ignored, of late.

Resonic Pro looks interesting. I like what I read and will check it out. I'll also checkout Loopcloud and Sononym.
Thanks guys.

This looks incredible! Do you know if it’s Catalina ready and still being developed?Michael L wrote: Sun May 10, 2020 6:42 am This is a sample manager + audio editor + batch processor but Mac-only:

It looks like the last update was a year ago and Mojave support is mentioned but I don’t see Catalina mentioned.

Hi simmo, AudioFinder is still being developed (it has been around for a lonnnng time) and multiple users report on the Forum that it works fine under Catalina (visit the Forum from the home page menu) It seems compatibility is not "official" because the developer (straight-up guy) does not use Catalina. Demo it on your system anyway. Some features like batch naming files and adding the auto-detected pitch and midi note are tucked away in the manual (p.66) so be sure to RTFM.

Thank you Michael... I guess I should have said upfront that I have a PC and not a Mac. But this is nice to know for those who have a Mac.Michael L wrote: Sun May 10, 2020 6:42 am This is a sample manager + audio editor + batch processor but Mac-only:

I have AudioFinder (for over a decade) and Samplism. AF gives you a lifetime license, previews MIDI files and does many more things that Samplism does not such as editing. However I much prefer Samplism as it is lightning fast for categorizing and sub-categorizing which is something AF does not do without your guidance. In AF you have to make metadata tags for everything. Samplism needs minimal intervention from me, usually only on the rare occasion that it doesn’t automatically recognize a developer and I need to assist. I keep my samples organized anyway so Samplism is basically mimicking my file structure at my request; however it further drills down to snares, kick, genres, etc. and tags it all on its own.
