Which synth has "the best" envelope control?

I own the following synths: Zebra 2, Serum, MSoundFactory, Harmor, Halion, Diva, Aparillo.
For most control, I don't quite know exactly what you mean. Serum is the easiest to use for me, because one can draw the LFOs and envelopes and they are on the front page. Harmor is strong because there are so many things options to assign LFO or envelopes to, and they can be drawn in as well. For Zebra 2, you have to read the manual to understand some of the things you can do with envelopes and LFOs, but I like the way they work, and one can draw MSEGs to function similarly, although it's not as easy/quick to do. Some synths have "hold" as a parameter (MSF does, for example).

Doing nothing is only fun when you have something you are supposed to do.

Can't say best for sure because I haven't tried them all but Fathom by Seaweed Audio has the most flexible I have seen.
We jumped the fence because it was a fence not be cause the grass was greener.

MeldaProduction envelopes are very powerful. The sustain segment has its own LFO, and it's not just any LFO but a full-blown MeldaProduction LFO, which are extremely powerful themselves, including a capability for complex step sequencing shapes. You may have a custom attack segment (any shape you want) and a custom release segment.

If by 'best' you mean 'hugest amount of parameter options allowing you insane amounts of nano-modulation', Absynth is the best (see https://www.adsrsounds.com/absynth-tuto ... i-absynth/ for an idea of what it can do).
If you mean 'oh and also easy to use' - not so much.

Maybe not the "best" envelope control, but the envelopes settings in Curve 2 are pretty cool.

I'd have to say Melda MPowersynth / MSoundfactory.
Melda might not have the best eye-candy, but the modular design is extremely flexible and is really a tweaker's Valhalla!

Any Imageline synth is my fav. Zebra 2, Synthmaster, Pigments, and Falcon are also very good.
I wish Massive X, Dune 3, and Icarus 2 had better MSEGs. Icarus 2 is almost there, but the loop/sustain is forced to occur through the end of the envelope instead of an arbitrary region.

What does "best" mean? In omnisphere you can't modulate the amp and filter envelopes, but there is a powerful mod envelope.

as everyone else mentions, "best" can mean a lot of things
on the more options end, any of the msegs mentioned: absynth, serum phaseplant etc are filled with options
Msound factory is also on that list, but routing becomes cumbersome and tedious, so best can also be in regards to work flow
if "best" is in terms of precision and accuracy, some of the aforementioned synths don't quite cut it
Dune really fits the bill here, Kick 2 as well (but has a vary narrow purpose synth following it) falcon, and again msoundfactory
if we combine ease of use, features, and accuracy, Dune's Msegs really knock it out of the park, easy to use, incredibly precise with a super wide range from snappy to slow, and lots of values in between, and reliable and accurate
when I say accurate, this is in regards to how often the envelope sounds the same on multiple triggers, some of them out there are kinda loose and sloppy, or on the fast end don't give you fine resolution over fast envelopes
for reference I've used around 50 different software synths
oh also if you're in vcv, mindmeld shapemaster pro is sick

As an aside, I’ve seen ppl rage-quit before but so far OP is the only one I’ve seen who apparently rage-deleted all 400+ posts they made lol. That’s dedication to the cause lol.

My requirement would be that segments can be modulated in rate and level. There are a lot of synths with MSEGs, but you can‘t modulate all parameters. That leaves DX and CZ emulations as kings of envelopes… I would be happy to have an APDSR with the ability to modulate the peak of the attack phase…
Instead I get boring ADSRs, some have AHDSR, which isn‘t very useful, I would prefer curves instead, which a lot of envelopes do have though…
