I recently subscribed for Roland Cloud Ultimate. My reason was to have digital models of my synths in my traveling set-up so that I can work while I am away of my studio by avoiding large logistics.

I started to download 3 days ago. You know what? !!!...Still trying to finalize all downloads :)

Many synths which were my reason to buy , are not downloading. When I hit the install button the process starts. Actually, an "installation finalized" notification appears in windows 10 notification panel. But the instrument is marked as "not installed" on Roland Cloud Manager. Instruments are not installed in any plugins folder. SInce 3 days I am only able to install 4 or 5 legendary instruments, other minor instruments and the additional srx libraries.

By the way, despite I've selected a specific installation folder , Cloud Manager installs instruments and their contents to other VST folders but only installs rvr format sound libraries to the folder that I've selected. Totally a messs....

SYSTEM 1, SYSTEM 100, XV5080, JV 1080, TB 303, SH 2, SH 101, SECTOR 7 not able to install.

Download speed and program response is slow.

Sent a message to Roland. Couldn't receive a solution reply yet.

I've started to realize that I've just stepped on shit. :) I will probably cancel my subscription.

However, would like to ask you if there is any solution or not..

Please advise if you can help

although the roland synths sound great, their business model in software is not customer friendly at all. if i were you, i would look for alternative synths and companies that treat their customers as they should. three days downloading? ridiculous.

I guess you are right.

Now I've checked my account on Roland Cloud website. My subscription shows as pending. Checked my payment records and couldn't see any Roland related payment. Which means Roland subscription still did not deduct any amount since 3 days. Really weird. I would like to assume that may be a reason why I can not download or problems. I really do not know at the moment. However, cloud manager shows i am registered to Ultimate. Unfortunately, they are a total disaster.

I am after these Roland plugins since I have the hardware XV-5080, JV-1080, TR 808, SH 101 . My plan was to have them digitally on my travelling setup and work where ever I would like to. Later I can change the sound to original when I arrive back to my studio.

What a disappointment..Shame on a huge company like Roland. I've just recently canceled my subscription.

Okay I see! Unfortunately there are no real alternatives to the digital Roland synths in plugin-land except those from Roland.
