With all these amazing freebies I don't think anyone really needs to buy reverbs and delays anymore!

-NI Raum
-Arturia Plate
-OrilRiver
-Lagrange
As a Valhalla Delay owner I don't see this adding anything new, but will give it a spin anyways. Cool that they got the menus working on touch screens which don't work in VDelay.

The "Philosophy of" document says the algos are "unrepentantly digital, and unrepentantly un-natural," but they should say "gloriously digital, and wonderfully un-natural." Beautiful and bizarre. Thank you!
Wait... loot _then_ burn? D'oh!

Only thing that I know that could pull some of the stunts that Supermassive can do is that ancient Aries verb (it could do some stuff Supermassive can't, but is not nearly as easily gratifying nor musical).Echoes in the Attic wrote: ↑Tue May 19, 2020 9:49 pm As a Valhalla Delay owner I don't see this adding anything new, but will give it a spin anyways.
... and it also does amazing neither-flanger-nor-chorus things, very stereo but with great mono compatibility (which can be a problem for some longer patches, and this is my only gripe with this amazing effect, would buy it for a lot of money if Sean asked).

It's pretty massive, free or not free, sound quality first and I think it sounds very good.
My first encounter with ValhalllaSupermassive, checking out the algorithms and settings on the fly, a Pianoteq 6 hybrid mallet sound was used as input source.

Blasphemy!
But it's pretty good. Thank you ValhallaDSP!

It is weird. I have three Valhalla plugins.. One I bought and two freebies (this being the second).... It is the freebie (and I suspect this one will add to it) that gets the use.
Thanks again.

It makes for big pads, but I can also get nice “gate reverb” sounds from the Sagittarius mode:
Mix (whatever, I always use 100%)
Width: 100%
Delay: 50ms
Warp: 100%
Mode: Sagittarius
Feedback: 60.4%
Density: 100%
Rate: 0.5hz
Depth: 50%
EQ: Flat (high 20000Hz, low 10Hz)
Also makes for a nice chorus thickener for pads. Increase delay and feedback to get a big cavern reverb effect.
