Hi guys
I have 9 Intro license and its enough for me at the moment. I would love to have the full suite but its just too much money for me right now. I hope one day they will allow subscription similar to splice where you pay it and becomes yours to keep - as much as license can be yours anyway:)
Do you think its worth buying 10 Intro ? Is there much difference between 9 and 10 Intro editions ? I know that bigger packages are quite different with new synths, effects, but when it comes to intro, I think the only difference is few minor workflow improvements and axing of 32 bit.
Am I right ? Do I miss something important ?

I think it's worth it. I've spare Intro license (or 2) I can give you for free. If you want it, PM me with your e-mail address you've used for Ableton account.

Midi capture is the most important difference but personally I don't use it.
I didn't bother about upgrading from intro 9 to intro 10 (no path anyway). I went to Standard 10 edition then upgraded it to suite. Now Suite is the bomb! With the additional instruments, max for live and the no nonsense contents, you are in the business!

Don't get me wrong! I still load some of my favourite synths, but I found myself concentrating on being more advanced and practical on most everything knowing that there are tons of hidden techniques i can learn and use when i need them.

Keep saving and buy a 2and hand license of suite from kvr market. That would be my advice

I think much more important are proper support for High DPI (no choice anymore between sharp GUI & blurry VSTs or vice versa), trackpad gestures (on Windows), new automation features & workflow, multi-track editing, sane workflow with sidechaining 3rd party devices, VST3 support, automatic backup, new keyboard shortcuts. Small things perhaps, but they were huge for me at the time.

Not sure all of that is present in Intro, though (probably yes).

I have 32" 2k monitor, so it looks fine with me. All the other features you mentioned I don't use or not that important for me. I don't do EDM or Psy, so my requirements are more classic than others.
So, I could be also happy with Live Suite 9, but 10 has better contents and it is more polished overall. It also has Wavetable which is a very good synth indeed.

You're right, obviously. What's important is very persoal & subjective.

I went to Intro 10 mainly because of arrangement window improvements, being able to resize clips by dragging them was a biggie for me. And it looks a whole lot better imo, better font I think.
