On my Apple laptop, Cubase always has a black bar, directly underneath the tool bars. It says things like Name, Start, End, Length, Offset, Mute, Lock, Transpose, Global Transpose etc.
On my desktop pc however, this bar is not there. I've turned on everything I can find that says show everything, show all tools, and still nothing.
How do I get this window back?

I'm on Windows, but I think the method is the same...
On the Toolbar, over to the right is a group of 4 buttons. These let you set up which bits of the headers and sidebars are visible. The right-most one of this group (with the cog-enclosed-by-a-square icon) is the one you need. Click it and a kind of menu appears with some checked/unchecked items. One of them is the Info Line. Make sure this is checked. That should do it.
