I see that Melodyne 5 has been introduced, and I'm curious about it. I have Flex Pitch in Logic, which seems to have similar features as far as pitch correction goes for vocal tracks. Can anybody out there with experience with Melodyne, maybe also with Logic, speak to whether Melodyne 5 is really some vast improvement worth its price?

Thanks for pointing out this excellent video! It gave me lots to think about. It was a country music example with clear voices, and I can see how Melodyne corrected their pitches without making them sound unnatural. I think I'll watch it again, then download the trial of Melodyne and see what it does to my voice.

i couldn't find a newer post in the forum. after all those years/updates, it's so annoying to see that flex pitch still has the same issues. i've never tried melodyne before, and based on the videos i've seen so far, the UI looks pretty ugly/complicated. but i understand the quality of the output is much higher compared to flex pitch.
