I'm sure that subject line makes no sense so let me elaborate.
Somewhere, somehow I've clicked a setting that moves the play head (position marker in DAW speak I guess) to the end of the block after I cut it.
Let's say I have a single block of audio from bar 1 to 16, if I cut the block at bar 2 my position marker moves to bar 16. How can I stop it doing this and remain on block 2?
Cubase 10: Position marker moving to the end of the loop after chopping. What setting?

Fantastic. That looks like the one. Thanksjancivil wrote: Mon Jun 15, 2020 6:19 am In Preferences, Transport you can set it to return to start position. So if the cursor is at bar 2, stop or pause returns you to bar 2.
