Sustain Pedal...

-I've been writing in sustain pedal events under phrases using a Kontakt piano instrument on tracks, on then off each chord, and for some reason when I stop playback, the sustain keeps ringing, i.e., there is no pedal off event sent.
-This happens at the end of a phrase even when it passes the last pedal off event.
-There is high probability of operator error...
