Hey guys, thoughts on this mix? The aim was to have a repetitive background motif with a bunch of stuff slowly weaving in and out over the top of it. I chose to mainly focus on using just the one synth for this - Arturia's CMI V, though I also used a guitar + drum machine.

First off, thanks for checking out my thread. This was really good. Reminds me of old new age. As Recursive said, not much to add. Looking forward to your next post. Will definitely keep you on my "watch for" list.

I think this has a TD vibe (maybe like some of their film soundtrack work from '82-'86), although they never used a CMI. The guitar and drums fit in very nicely. The mix sounds quite good (although I'm trying to come to terms with monitor placement after scoring a 30-inch Dell monitor), and I think I can hear some LF rumble throughout the piece. It seems quite noticeable at the beginning.

Good work :)

Very clean and upfront synth track. Nice bowed sounds. The Arturia sounds great on your song.
