Question sabout use of Kontakt database

Hi all,
Few questions on your database use in Kontakt based on my needs to better organize multiple instruments of similar nature.

1. How do you use the Bank column for instruments? Is this the name of Instrument Bank that groups instruments in the rack (it does not look so based on my experiment, and I am completely confused about what it is for)? If not, then what metadata do you put there?

2. Are there any issues if I override values in Author column? For example, with instrument make or model? Or with venue type? I am thinking on using it for my own purposes, because I can't add custom attribute names, and Author is absolutely useless for search purposes IMO.

3. Comments/keywords. Do you follow some controlled vocabulary for keywords, or just put there whatever your mind brings?

4. Is there any way to sort the search criteria options (Author, Vendor, Bank)?
