For those of you who used to love Scooter in their first era.

I just want to give you a heads up on a fresh super interesting 6-hour interview with ex-scooter member Ferris Bueller. In the interview, he discusses a lot of interesting never before heard insights on the production process, the real reason why he left the bands, internal troubles with the band, etc.

This is his first proper and deep interview since he left Scooter in 1998.

Check it out here:

Ferris was the melodic mastermind behind Scooters songs between 1994 - 1998. Ferris wanted that Scooter makes original music in a wide variety of sounds. Apparently the singer did not want that and wanted to produce only hands up party songs, which more or less made Ferris leave the band in 1998.

Anyway, at this point it should be known that Scooter mostly ripped of their style and sound from 2 other bands: The KLF and Ultra-Sonic.

Check this video

There was an interview with the KLF’s James Cauty in 2003 where he said the following

"And what about Scooter, who continually quote your KLF work?

Ha … LOL. Good old Scooter, I was surprised they took so long to get round to it. They’re like some sort of tribute band … I really like them, shame they’re so ugly."

Also, they did not only rip off The KLF but also the Scottish band Ultra-Sonic. If you listen you will notice the fake audience sounds, mc and similar style of beats

Managed to watch the first part. Annoying with all those Russian translations, but I made it eventually (had to download the video so I can skip the above mentioned sections). As a fan of their first six albums, I found it pretty interesting (and sad).

BTW, my all-time favorite song from them is No Fate, which is 'borrowed' from two other acts. :)

Also watched part 2. Nice! Waiting for part 3, the rude one... :hihi:

Ha, he also chose No Fate among his two favorite Scooter trax (00:26:43). Also cool that my second all-time favorite track from them, Awakening, was his idea (02:35:50).
