I just got my FW Auiophile, plugged it into a InnoDV FW adapter (agere chipset). When listening music in winamp the cpu jumps up to 10-12%. Is that normal ? Because I never had this kind of problems with my old sblive. The audiophile is powered from AC adapter.

My setup is: CPU - 1.94 Ghz Athlon XP ; MB Asus A7N8X-X (nforce2); Onboard soundcard desabled, network enabled; no other PCI card; OS - windows XP pro with SP1 + updates; latest m-audio driver)

This can be from the PCI to FW card ? Would a card with TI chipset make any difference ?
