VST Midi humanizer plugin

Way back in the distant past I needed a simple plugin that could take a midi input and add slight randomness, user definable. If memory serves, it was tobybear who made that plugin for me, I believe it was called 'humanisator'. And I think xoxos might have made something similar for me... but I can't remember quite what the difference was.
Is there any such thing available as a 64bit plugin... actually I don't think I have the old 32bit plugin on my hard drives any more.
I see there's a midi plugin that does the same thing... I probably need a vst plugin.

Not the newest, yet should do the trick.

They're midi plugins; I'm using Waveform for sequencing and I don't believe it has midi plugin functionality.

Ah, hang on, I think Waveform has an arpeggiator which includes this function. I shall give it a go.
Edit: it does work, but I don't think you can switch the arpeggiation function off, so it will work, but only on mono patterns.

Ah, my bad then. Those midi #plugs do allow an additional #vst installation, yet also just seem to work with cubase etc. So even the perfect match in functionality, those will not work in other hosts. It would not be a problem to achieve this in Reaper, Ableton/M4L without any VST at all. The other old one by xoxos was called circuit, if I remember right. Maybe someone knows a 64Bit version, which can achieve similar stuff, could indeed be interesting for certain occasions.

ReaJS has a patch that does it (free VST);
https://www.reaper.fm/reaplugs/
If you click on load, it's under the 'schwa' menu as...midi humanizer.

Logic Pro X has built in such functions.
By the way: very deep and good.

Try to find piz-midi bundle. The site is down but piz-midi plugins are available. midiProbability and midiSwing seems to be close to what you are searching for.
Second option is (may be) Midi Shape Shifter. It's not strictly what you want but could be useful. May be.

This is not a midi vst.

It's a VST3/AU that operates on "midi input and add slight randomness" per the OP's original request ... may not do what you want, but was just throwing it out there as an option.

Hmm, been many years since I used Live at all so can't really help you there to be honest. In FL you route it like any other MIDI transforming plug-in - port in port out and it works. Hopefully someone will chime in who knows.

It's a one shot sampler. It responds to midi but it does not operate on or modify the midi in anyway except in the way it plays the sample. My understanding of the OP request was that the VST would take midi input and produce humanized midi output. At least that is what Humanisator does.kidslow wrote: Tue Aug 04, 2020 5:00 pm It's a VST3/AU that operates on "midi input and add slight randomness" per the OP's original request ... may not do what you want, but was just throwing it out there as an option.

Thanks for the responses, lots of potential options. Yes, courtjestr is right. I should have added that it was only in relation to note start time and velocity.
