Is anybody using this software, if so what do you think? I'm mainly interested in the quality of the piano, woodwind (mainly flute) and strings. Any alternatives, seems pretty cheap for what it offers!

IMHO GPO is by far better than anything in the same price range for overall orchestra. If you want good piano only, you'll probably get better somewhere or if you want good flutes you can get specialised banks. For strings and winds GPO is only limited in the different articulations. The sound quality is top notch for those articulations provided in GPO.
Those specialised libraries will each cost much more than GPO.
East West offer good alternatives. If you want to go signifficantly up in pricing, look at Vienna.
