I just bought it a few weeks ago after trying it numerous times. I really like it for audio production and mixing. Have you tried Reaper yet?

Yup just changed my theme for about the millionth time, I tend to go with the flat
and minimal bling themes:

I can appreciate the OP's motives however. Perhaps a follow-up will provide something more substantial to spark a discussion. (either that, or an endless stream of rants from down-jin... errm... down-under).

I didn't think REAPER could get any uglier than the default, man was I wrong. That there is retina melting, it should come with a hazard warning

I used REAPER from around 2007/2008 until September 2015, all I can say is leaving it behind was the best thing I ever done, I'll never even think of going back, it sucks more than a Hoover on steroids.

I'm sure there are still REAPER aficionados even whilst I'm playing around (at least for several months) with Cakewalk by Bandlab...

Ha! I like it, anyway Reaper is just on of the DAW's I use, as I have most of them.
*it reminds me of something, tho I can't remember what, some old linux window
manager theme I used back in the day I think.
