I just bought it a few weeks ago after trying it numerous times. I really like it for audio production and mixing. Have you tried Reaper yet?

I'm a fan of the unmentionable DAW (ducks and covers :scared:), but I find it difficult to comment on this video, as it really doesn't go very deep (as the title suggests it does).

I can appreciate the OP's motives however. Perhaps a follow-up will provide something more substantial to spark a discussion. (either that, or an endless stream of rants from down-jin... errm... down-under).

I didn't think REAPER could get any uglier than the default, man was I wrong. That there is retina melting, it should come with a hazard warning

I used REAPER from around 2007/2008 until September 2015, all I can say is leaving it behind was the best thing I ever done, I'll never even think of going back, it sucks more than a Hoover on steroids.

Where's the Evil Dragon when needed?

I'm sure there are still REAPER aficionados even whilst I'm playing around (at least for several months) with Cakewalk by Bandlab...

Ha! I like it, anyway Reaper is just on of the DAW's I use, as I have most of them.
*it reminds me of something, tho I can't remember what, some old linux window
manager theme I used back in the day I think.

Do you see what happens gentle? Do you see what happens when you ____ a stranger in the ___? :hihi:

Heh, fortunately I'm not really able to express how little I actually care about it, if someone likes my choice of reaper themes or not. :D

ill-intent jest. I was not commenting to you (if you've indeed supposed such). Re-read the thread for clarity.

Yeah I know, I just felt like adding that. Some people like to make unnecessary comments,
I am guilty of as much myself and will generally respond to them in some annoying fashion.

There are a few books by Geoffrey Francis with more detailed deeper REAPER tips and tricks...

So, I don't detect a lot of love for Reaper here. Or, am I missing something?
